Data session in Spring 2018

The following extraordinary data session took place in Spring 2018:

9th April, 13:00-16:00 in CREATE 6.235

  • A group of Finnish researchers from Oulu visited the Mattering research group. They represent various methodological and topical interests, from conversation analysis to nexus analysis and from nature relations to prisoners and refugees.
  • The data session started with Riikka Tumelius' topic "Exploring the complexity of an online chat exercise from which she has three sets of data: school kids (video 1) and university students (video 2) that chatted together (chat log).
  • Afterward we continued discussing methodological issues concerning various types of complex/longitudinal data.
